Industrial traders are, among other things, responsible for ensuring that the company does not miscalculate when developing offers. Apart from quotation, this multifaceted profession still has more to offer: From materials
procurement to sales, industrial traders are involved in administration, computing and planning. They manage the books and are therefore aware of everything – for example, what is happening in the production branches or in personnel organisation. Wherever they are assigned, industrial traders deal with people. Therefore, a confident presence, verbal skills, sociableness and foreign language skills are sought after.
