• Milling head (A-axis) swivels through 180°, milling head holder
• (C-axis) swivels by 360° (in degree increments)
• Each position is automatically assumed and calculated in the NC program.
• Friction and form connections ensure that the drive power is fully transferred and utilised in every position.
• Drive power: 26 kW at 100% use
• Pulling force 13 tons
• All power feed goes through the head
• Largest possible diameter of flat gear rings
• Extremely high efficiency as there are only 3 gear pairs installed
• All media supplied centrally through the head; rotary distributor for internal coolant supply, minimal lubrication, air, sprinkler ring for all cooling media
• No disruptive contours due to pipes etc, on the milling head exterior
• Compact head design; easy to use even where it is cramped
